WINE DESCRIPTION: Wine is smooth, fresh, medium bodied fruity and creamy. Notes of matured apple, vanilla bread crust. The wine combined freshness coming from local grape and oak spiciness. VINEYARD: Pliska (0,05 ha, altitude 170 m a.s.l.), Planina (0,05ha, altitude 320 m a.s.l.) 6000 vines/ha, average plant age 12 years, single guyot training system SOIL: flish WINE YIELD: 50 hL/ha HARVESTING: hand picked BOTTLING: May 2015 PRODUCTION: 75 cases WINE TECHNOLOGY: All the vines are very low yielded, 20% of them up to 6 clusters. The grapes are well matured, exposed to the sun by leaf removal at veraison/Two days of cold and 6 days of classic maceration. The wine is aged for 24 months in Slavonian and French oak barrique barrels (30% of new ones), controlled Manulactic fermentation and 6 months of active batonaging. WINE CARACTERICTICS: Alc: 13.5 vol. % Sugar cont.: 1.8 g/L Acidity: 6.3 g/L FOOD AND WINE: Recommended with all spicy seafood, pasta and risotto, also well with white meat.
